The variety belongs to semi-dormant types and is characterized by early spring regrowth. The plant possesses a powerful root system, limited stem lignification, and high leafiness.
The variety possesses resistance to frost, lodging, as well as to downy mildew, Fusarium, aphids, and nematodes. It is suitable for cultivation on various soil types and regrows well after multiple cuts.
The produce is used for obtaining hay with high protein content and green mass. Seed productivity allows for harvesting seeds from the second cut. The recommended seeding rate is 25–30 kg/ha when sowing in autumn or spring.
