Corsa plants are medium-height and have a semi-erect growth habit with an open crown, which promotes the formation of a large number of stems. The fine stem structure ensures a high leaf-to-stem ratio and improves the nutritional value of the resulting forage.
The variety belongs to the maturity group 6 and is characterized by excellent germination energy and vigorous development. The product has a high protein content and excellent digestibility. The plants are lodging resistant, show cold hardiness, and are adapted to arid conditions.
The variety has high resistance (HR) to Phytophthora root rot, spotted alfalfa aphid, and blue alfalfa aphid. Resistance (R) to anthracnose and pea aphid has also been noted.
