The variety is mid-early, characterized by early spring regrowth and medium-tall erect plants reaching heights of up to 1 meter. Thin and hollow stems facilitate the rapid drying of mown biomass and reduce leaf loss during hay harvesting.
The plant has good drought resistance due to a developed root system, with a dormancy rating of 5/6. The variety is intended for the production of green fodder and silage and is also used as a green manure to increase fertility and improve soil structure.
For cultivation, a seeding rate of about 35 kg/ha is recommended on deep, aerated soils with a pH level above 6.5. The variety is characterized by a high content of protein and vitamins and is also used in scientific research on salt tolerance and biotechnology.
