The variety is synthetic, bred on the basis of genetic material from the Po Valley and the Veneto region. The plant is characterized by medium to high height, abundant leafiness down to the base of the stem, thin well-branched stems without pronounced lignification, and a deep root system.
Belongs to semi-dormant varieties with a dormancy class of 6. It is distinguished by very rapid regrowth after mowing and high resistance to low temperatures. It shows high productivity potential on fertile soils, as well as on fresh and light soils in hilly terrain.
