Variety PX3 belongs to the group of highly winter-active plants with a fall dormancy (FD) rating of 10. During the autumn period, the plants reach a high or very high height. The variety is distinguished by fast development in the first year after sowing and high productivity throughout the year.
The plant possesses high resistance to spotted alfalfa aphid and blue alfalfa aphid. At the same time, the variety is susceptible to blue oat mite, which requires protective measures during the initial growth period. The variety is suitable for cut-and-carry forage harvesting systems and intensive sheep grazing.
