The variety is a perennial legume crop selected from a local Italian ecotype. The plants are characterized by high growth intensity, significant stem thickness, and high green mass yields. The fodder is of good quality, including increased copper content, while the main protein and fiber content indicators correspond to the level of other varieties.
Agronomic practices include sowing in March at a rate of 30–40 kg/ha with row spacing of 12–15 cm and a seeding depth of 1–1.5 cm. The variety develops best on fertile, deep, calcareous, and loose soils. The crop is sensitive to water stress, which affects the final yield.
