The SW3407 variety is characterized by a high level of resistance (HR) to diseases such as bacterial wilt, Fusarium wilt, anthracnose, and Phytophthora root rot. Resistance (R) to certain aphid species has also been noted.
During variety trials, the variety demonstrates yield performance comparable to other commercial varieties. The product is intended for agricultural use for hay harvesting and green mass production.
