The variety is a synthetic population derived from 216 plants based on the selection of 12 elite clonal families. Breeding focused on agronomic traits, forage mass productivity, as well as resistance to diseases and pests.
The plant belongs to the group of non-winter-hardy varieties with a fall dormancy index of FD 8. The variety possesses high resistance to bacterial wilt and resistance to a number of pests, including the spotted alfalfa aphid.
The variety is adapted for cultivation under irrigation in regions where high winter hardiness is not required. The productivity of the variety was evaluated during field trials based on dry matter yield.
