The plant forms an upright bush with thin stems 100 to 130 cm tall. The variety is classified as early-maturing or mid-maturing in terms of the onset of flowering. It possesses high resistance to diseases, including low susceptibility to leaf wilt, as well as high winter hardiness and drought tolerance.
The variety is distinguished by an excellent regrowth rate after cutting, which allows for up to 3–4 cuts per season. The protein content in the dry matter is about 17.3% and higher. The recommended seeding rate in pure stands is 25–30 kg/ha at a seeding depth of 1–2 cm.
