Variety description

The plant has a compact, bushy, and upright habit, reaching 90–120 cm in height and 60–90 cm in width. The bush shape is neat and usually does not require pruning. Young leaves have a bright reddish tint, which changes to yellow-green and dark green tones during the season, and acquires red and burgundy shades again in winter. The foliage texture is lace-like, fern-like.
The variety produces panicles of small white flowers in late spring or early summer, sometimes followed by red berries, however, flowering may be sparse. The plant is suitable for USDA hardiness zones 6–9, is resistant to drought and urban conditions. Nandina leaves and berries are toxic to animals.
Used in landscaping as an accent plant, for creating low hedges, and for growing in containers.
