The variety is a compact, rounded, bushy shrub, reaching about 60 cm in height and width. New spring leaves have a pronounced pink hue, which persists during the growing season, changing to green in summer and purple-red tones in the autumn-winter period.

The plant is sterile, does not form flowers or fruits. The variety is used in decorative landscaping, suitable for borders, mass plantings, and containers. It is a non-invasive cultivar, resistant to diseases and pests, however, all parts of the plant contain potentially toxic substances.
