The Bilogora variety belongs to the traditional varieties that were historically grown in the territory of modern Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Scientific studies on the morphological characteristics of tobacco indicate that an average of 22 leaves are formed on one Bilogora plant. Other agronomic characteristics, such as plant height, maturity dates, and disease resistance, are not described in open publications.
