The variety belongs to the Oriental tobacco group and is widely used in the tobacco industry. It underwent comparative trials, during which morphological parameters were studied, including stem height, number of leaves, leaf dimensions, and green mass yield indicators.

As part of scientific research, the JAKA 23 variety demonstrated specific quantitative characteristics that distinguish it from other representatives of the Yaka type. Precise parameters for disease resistance and morphological indicators of the variety are presented in highly specialized bulletins of the Tobacco Institute in Prilep.
