The variety JAKA 7-4/2 (also JK 7-4/2) is a representative of the "Prilep" variety type, widely distributed in Balkan tobacco cultivation. The variety is intended for use as tobacco raw material.

The chemical composition of the raw material is subject to significant fluctuations depending on weather conditions and irrigation regime. The nicotine content in different years varies in the range from 0.11% in rainy periods to 0.78% under optimal conditions. The variety exhibits good adaptability within its range.
