The variety is classified as late-maturing, reaches a height of approximately 102 cm, and produces an average of 17.5 leaves per stalk. The plant has a columnar growth habit and a potentially high yield, with leaves that exhibit good curing characteristics.

The variety possesses resistance to common species of root-knot nematodes and tolerance to brown spot. At the same time, K 326 is characterized by low resistance to black root rot and bacterial wilt, and it is susceptible to tobacco mosaic virus and potato virus Y.
