The variety belongs to the category of Oriental tobaccos and was bred through intervarietal hybridization. The plant demonstrates yields exceeding those of the control variety Krumovgrad 988 by 25–36.6%, while providing better quality of raw material.

The development of the variety is significantly influenced by agronomic practices, in particular the dosage of mineral fertilizers and plant density. The application of NPK 15-15-15 fertilizers promotes plant growth and an increase in leaf size; however, excessive doses, as well as excessive spacing between bushes, negatively affect the final product quality.
