The variety belongs to the Oriental tobacco type. It was actively used as a parental form in breeding new tobacco lines and hybrids for a number of regions.

The plant has a short growing season. The nicotine content in the leaves ranges from 0.46 to 0.90%; the presence of phenolic compounds at a level of 6.38 mg/g and a balanced chemical composition that determines the smoking properties of the product are also noted.
