The plant has a cylindrical shape and an average stem height of about 105 cm. The variety produces 50 to 60 sessile leaves, the average size of which is 17.5 cm by 9 cm. The flower bud has a hemispherical shape, and the flowers are colored in a pale pink shade.
After curing, the leaves acquire a golden-yellow color and possess an intense aroma and a sweetish taste. The dry matter yield is about 2500 kg/ha. The variety is characterized by high resistance to the pathogen Phytophthora parasitica var. nicotianae due to the presence of a dominant gene.
The variety is intended for use in the tobacco industry and as a parent form for breeding programs to develop resistant hybrids.
