The variety belongs to the oriental tobacco type. In research, it often acts as a control material due to its agronomic and technological properties, as well as its ability to be used in the development of heterotic hybrids.

The chemical composition of the variety is characterized by a relatively high nicotine content, which varied from 2.19 to 3.05% in tests. The sugar content in the leaves is estimated to be relatively low.

Morphological characteristics of the plant include a weakly expressed or absent leaf margin waviness, as well as a specific leaf ear structure. The variety is considered genetically adapted to the conditions of its region of origin.
