The plant forms a compact, spherical bush up to 30 cm tall. The variety is intended for cultivation in containers, pots, and balcony boxes, and can be used as an ornamental foliage crop for decorating patios.

The basil leaves are suitable for human consumption; they are used in salads, dressings, and for flavoring oils and vinegar.
