Variety description

10 August 2026

Little Janie is an upright bushy plant with a spread of 35–46 cm. The bicolored white-pink flowers are butterfly-shaped, and the flower buds have a dark red tint. The plant is capable of blooming in the first year after planting.

The variety is adapted to hardiness zones 6a–9b and is capable of withstanding increased humidity. Once established, it shows high tolerance to adverse climatic factors. The variety is low-maintenance, however, it can be susceptible to aphid or spider mite infestation.

The plant is suitable for container growing, use in borders, rock gardens, and mass plantings. Compact size and good transportability make it in demand for retail, and the variety is also suitable for cutting and attracts pollinators.
