The plant reaches a height of 40–60 cm and has erect branched stems with narrow lanceolate leaves of green color, sometimes with burgundy spots. White flowers with a diameter of about 2.5 cm bloom from pink buds. Flowering begins in late spring and continues almost continuously until frost.
The variety has winter hardiness in USDA zones 5–9, however, at temperatures below –23 °C, the plant dies. The crop prefers full sun and well-drained sandy or loamy soils, and possesses drought tolerance. In overly rich soils, stems may lodge, which requires the use of support or denser planting.
The plant is susceptible to powdery mildew, rust, as well as aphids, whiteflies, and flea beetles. The variety is recommended for planting in containers, hanging baskets, creating low borders, decorating the foreground of mixed borders, and use in rock gardens.
