Variety description

The variety is a compact herbaceous perennial with a height of about 40–50 cm. The plant forms a bush with thin, upright, flexible stems that are less prone to lodging than those of wild Gaura forms. Leaves are narrow, lanceolate, sometimes having burgundy spots.

Flowers are white with a diameter of about 2.5 cm and are gathered in loose paniculate inflorescences at the tops of the stems. Flowering is prolonged, lasting from late spring to autumn. The plant is drought-tolerant, withstands heat and humidity, and requires well-drained soils and a sunny location.

The variety is intended for ornamental gardening and is often used as a container crop or for planting in flower beds. It may be affected by powdery mildew, rust, and root rot in conditions of poor soil drainage. In regions with cold climates, overwintering may be unreliable.
