The plant forms a compact dense shrub of rounded shape, 30–40 cm high, sometimes up to 60 cm including flower stalks. Leaves are narrow, may have a burgundy border in spring, and turn green over time, being distinguished by a darker shade compared to the species plants.
Flowers are light pink with a dark center, gathered in spicate inflorescences; buds have a ruby shade. Flowering lasts from June until autumn frosts. The variety is distinguished by the ability to self-clean from faded flowers and high attractiveness to pollinators.
Gaura is undemanding, practically not affected by pests, but can suffer from powdery mildew in case of excessive moisture. Requires sunny lighting to prevent stem elongation. Winter hardiness corresponds to zones 6–9; in cold climates, it is grown as an annual or requires cover.
