The Bydgoska variety was removed from the Polish register of varieties in 1999 and is currently not included in the catalogue of authorized varieties. Detailed agrotechnical documentation and morphological characteristics are absent from open sources.

In the scientific literature of the 1990s and early 2000s, the variety was mentioned as a standard subject in field trials for the study of intercropping and green manures. The variety was used for cultivation on light, sandy, and acidic soils as a forage crop and for soil quality improvement.
