The variety has an upright growth habit and pink flowers, which ensures good tolerance to livestock grazing. The period until flowering is 121–125 days. The level of hard-seededness reaches 55%, which contributes to better seed persistence in the soil compared to the Cadiz variety.
The plant possesses pronounced resistance to root rot caused by the pathogen Rhizoctonia solani. The variety effectively fixes nitrogen in the soil and is well adapted for cultivation on deep sandy soils with low fertility and increased acidity.
Margurita is used as high-protein feed for sheep and cattle, providing high biomass productivity. It is used in crop rotations with cereals and is suitable for harvesting using standard grain harvesting equipment.
