The variety was obtained by crossing M202 and Senia varieties. The plant is short, with a stem height ranging from 55 to 65 cm. The variety is medium-maturing and tolerates high sowing density well, providing an average yield of 7.5–8.0 t/ha.

The grain is medium-grain with a pearlescent hue and an amylose content of about 18%. The variety has the ability to absorb ingredient aromas and a creamy texture; it is suitable for dry dishes, although it tends to overcook quickly when heat-treated.

The variety demonstrates resistance to lodging but remains susceptible to rice blast. It is a versatile variety adapted for various growing conditions.
