The Orange variety, also known as Orange Nori, is an aromatic rice with a unique orange pericarp color that appears after grain threshing. During the growing season, the plants do not differ in appearance from other rice crops.

The grains of this variety retain their integrity and shape during heat treatment, and also acquire a more saturated orange color. The rice is intended for use in salads, risotto, pilaf, and as a side dish for various meals.
