The Paco variety demonstrates a weak response to nitrogen fertilizers and low plasticity in response to changing growing conditions, which may lead to the preferential development of the root system to the detriment of above-ground biomass.

During field trials in France, it was determined that this variety is among the most susceptible to lodging during harvest.
