The variety is the result of an interspecific cross between Papaver somniferum and Papaver orientale. It is an early to mid-early maturing plant with a vegetation period of 115–135 days. The stem height is 110–120 cm; the plant forms 3–4 branches.

The flowers are white with a purple spot at the base of the petals. The capsules are spherical and slightly ribbed. The seeds are bright blue, with an oil content reaching 40–45%. Seed yield is 0.8–1.2 t/ha.

The plant possesses good resistance to lodging, diseases, and drought, as well as cold hardiness, which allows for early spring sowing. The recommended sowing density is 50–60 plants per square meter, although the variety is also adapted to lower densities.
