Variety description

The plant forms a bushy semi-evergreen habit 45–60 cm tall and about 50 cm wide. The foliage is narrow, lanceolate, and dark green. Tubular flowers are gathered in dense upright panicle inflorescences, the flowering of which continues from mid-summer to early autumn.
The variety possesses resistance to diseases, pests, and browsing by animals. The plant is adapted to USDA hardiness zones 6–9. The variety is a honey plant, attracting butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds, and is suitable for use in borders, containers, and for cutting.
