The plant possesses good basal branching, medium green lanceolate foliage, and upright stems. Medium-sized flowers bloom in the summer, typically in July–August, with the variety capable of reblooming throughout the season.

The variety is adapted to USDA hardiness zones 6a–9b, withstanding temperatures down to -23°C, and exhibits drought tolerance. In cultivation, it requires control of pests such as spider mites and thrips.

It is used in landscape design for borders and mass plantings, and is also suitable for container gardening, as it attracts pollinators and hummingbirds.
