Variety description

The variety is a complex hybrid obtained by crossing Penstemon digitalis «Husker Red» and a Penstemon «Prairie Splendor» hybrid. The plant forms a dense rosette of semi-evergreen wine-red leaves, which become more intense in full sun.
The tubular flowers are located on tall, sturdy flower stalks resistant to lodging. Flowering begins in late spring or early summer and can continue until autumn with regular removal of faded inflorescences. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and drought tolerance after rooting.
