Variety description

The plant forms a compact, bushy, and upright bush. Leaves are narrow, lanceolate, glossy, dark green or glaucous-green in color; the variety is semi-evergreen. Stems are strong, capable of supporting an abundance of inflorescences.
Flowers are tubular in shape, bright pink with a lighter or striped throat. Flowering is prolonged, from mid-summer to the first frosts. The plant is drought-tolerant after rooting, shows resistance to powdery mildew, and is suitable for USDA hardiness zones 6–9.
