Variety description

The plant is an herbaceous perennial 51–61 cm in height and 41–46 cm in width. The leaves are lanceolate in shape and green in color, contrasting with the rigid burgundy stems. The flowers are tubular, deep pink in shade with a creamy-white throat.
Flowering of the variety continues from June to August; with the removal of spent inflorescences, re-blooming is possible. The variety possesses heat tolerance, winter hardiness in USDA zones 5a–9b, and resistance to a number of foliar diseases. The plant is sterile, which eliminates its invasiveness.
This Penstemon is intended for use in landscape design and container gardening. It is characterized by the ability to attract hummingbirds.
