The variety «Fakir» (also known as Halflange Fakir) is a mid-late variety of root parsley. The plant forms dark green flat leaves and medium-sized conical root crops.

Distinctive features of the variety are the resistance of the root crops to branching regardless of sowing dates and good keeping quality, which allows the produce to be used for long-term storage. The variety is intended for both the fresh market and processing.
