The plant is an annual herbaceous crop 90–110 cm tall. The inflorescence of the Lizard variety is an upright cone-shaped panicle of medium density. The grain has a light brown color, a shiny surface, and a thousand kernel weight of 7–8 g.
The variety is intended for spring sowing in the period from early March to mid-April. The crop is well adapted to soils with low humus content and is distinguished by high drought tolerance. Yield ranges from 1.5 to 3.0 t/ha when observing sowing rates of about 60–80 viable seeds per linear meter.
