The plant is vigorous, reaching a height of 1.8 to 4 meters. A key feature is its salmon-pink or coral-colored flowers. The pods are light green, fleshy, 20–30 cm long, with minimal fiber content at a young age. The seeds are large, purple-black with speckles.
The growing season until the harvest of young pods is 65–70 days, and up to 100 days until full maturity. The variety is characterized by vigorous growth and requires protection from cold winds and frosts.
