The variety is a bush bean 40–60 cm tall with triangular leaves and light pink flowers. The development period is about 60 days. The plant is included in the cultural heritage conservation program as a variety originating from the Skåne region.
The flat, long, and straight pods are light green with pink streaks at technical maturity and turn red upon full ripening. The seeds are oblong, light brown with blurred red streaks, sometimes almost completely red.
The variety is for multipurpose use. Young crunchy pods are suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and canning, while mature seeds are used as shelling beans.
