The variety Anjo belongs to the species Phleum pratense L. and is often mistakenly classified in databases as Phleum nodosum or small timothy. The variety was developed with the participation of the Belgian institute ILVO and is intended for the creation of pastures and meadows, including for intensive use.
In UPOV documentation and EU catalogues, the variety Anjo is recorded as a standard reference sample for conducting morphological assessment of timothy. Detailed agronomic characteristics, such as exact height, yield indicators, or disease resistance, are not presented in open sources.
