Variety description

Leutimo is classified as a hexaploid variety and is very late-flowering, with a flowering period at the turn of June and July. The plant produces a large volume of high-quality soft forage, which is well-consumed by animals.

The variety possesses high resistance to the grass choking fungus Epichloë typhina and leaf spot. It shows high adaptability to severe climatic conditions and reacts positively to nitrogen fertilizers.

Used in grass mixtures for permanent and temporary pastures and hayfields. It performs most effectively on heavy soils and in regions with sufficient precipitation levels; it is compatible in mixtures with red clover.
