The variety is widely known in Slovakia and the Czech Republic as a component for long-term meadow and pasture grass mixtures, characterized by high resistance to adverse climatic conditions and suitability for both haymaking and livestock grazing.
In comparative studies, the variety acts as a reference specimen when studying grass productivity and response to water stress. Compared to more modern breeding achievements, it may be inferior in regrowth rates after mowing, green mass yield, and resistance to rust and leaf spot.
