The Ligrasso variety belongs to the intermediate type of timothy grass. It is used primarily as a forage crop for establishing hayfields and pastures, and is also included in grass mixtures for land reclamation and landscaping.
During studies with artificial pathogen inoculation, the variety demonstrates no or very low levels of infection by the fungus Drechslera tritici-repentis. Detailed morphological characteristics, including precise indicators of plant height or yield, are not available in open publications.
