The plant is a bushy upright perennial with a height of 38 to 46 cm. The foliage has a medium-green shade. Coral-red flowers with a darker purple-red center are gathered in dense fragrant inflorescences.
The variety possesses resistance to powdery mildew and lodging. Flowering occurs in mid-summer. The plant is winter hardy in USDA zones 3 to 8. Suitable for border landscaping, container cultivation, mass plantings, and cut flowers, attracts pollinating insects.
