The shrub is characterized by a dense and compact habit, reaching a height of 50–60 cm to 1 meter. The plant is evergreen: young leaves and shoots have an orange-bronze or reddish tint, which contrasts with the dark green mature foliage.
Flowering occurs in April–May with creamy-white flowers. The variety is distinguished by resistance to branch dieback, adapts well to various soils, and tolerates pruning. Winter hardiness is in the range of -10...-15 °C to -18 °C.
