Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 2–2.5 meters with a width of up to 2 meters. Young leaves have a bright red-violet or orange-red shade, gradually transitioning to a dark green color. Flowering occurs in the spring with small white flowers gathered in inflorescences; under favorable conditions, fruit formation is possible.

The variety prefers sunny locations and fertile, well-drained soils. Cold hardiness is limited to a range of -15°C to -18°C, and the plant is sensitive to dry winds. It tolerates regular pruning well, which stimulates the growth of new bright shoots and is used for creating hedges and topiary forms.
