The variety is a seedling derived from the «Red Robin» cultivar, characterized by a compact habit and slow growth rate. The plant is intended for landscaping, planting in containers on balconies and terraces, as well as creating groups and small hedges.
Young shoots in spring have a pronounced bright red color, which eventually turns into a glossy dark green. In mid-spring, the plant forms large, rounded inflorescences in the form of corymbose panicles with white flowers.
The variety has winter hardiness of USDA zone 6a and requires good soil drainage. The plant is susceptible to leaf spot caused by the fungus Entomosporium maculatum, especially in conditions of waterlogging and insufficient air circulation.
