Variety description

The variety Yapcor (trade name Somerford Funfair Coral) is a compact perennial or subshrub 40–80 cm in height. The plant has simple ovate leaves of a dark green color.
Flowering occurs from summer to autumn. The flowers are tubular, nodding, and gathered into upright panicles; the petal color is coral-pink with a yellow throat. The plant is marginally hardy, wind-resistant, and prefers sunny locations with well-drained moist soils.
The variety can be affected by the fuchsia flea beetle, mirid bugs, and in rare cases, Armillaria. In regions with cold climates, the plant may drop its leaves and requires mulching for the winter.
