The variety is a compact, upright, evergreen shrub that may shed its foliage in cold regions. The plant produces suckers, the width of the bush is about 30 cm. The leaves are oval, dark green.
Flowering occurs during the summer period. Cream-yellow tubular nodding flowers are gathered in open upright paniculate inflorescences. The variety is considered conditionally winter-hardy and requires protection from frost, as well as planting in fertile, moist, and well-drained soil in a sunny location.
