Variety description

The plant is a herbaceous perennial subshrub with a height from 30 to 90 cm. The foliage is dark green, ovate in shape. The flowers have a tubular, nodding form with a characteristic yellow throat and petal coloration varying from purple to deep pink.

Flowering is prolonged, from June to September. The variety is characterized as fast-growing and is capable of forming root suckers. It prefers sunny locations or partial shade and well-drained, moderately moist soils. In regions with mild climates, it is grown as a perennial; in cold regions, as an annual.
